Antioch Community Church is a non-denominational church originally based out of Waco, Texas. Antioch Community Church of Little Rock was planted with the desire to see God glorified in Little Rock and for His work in our city to touch all across the world. Our passion and purpose has always been and will always be JESUS. The One who takes away our sins, binds up the broken hearted, gives hope to the hopeless, heals the sick and delivers the captive. The One who is LOVE. We believe the church is the hope of the world, and want to see more of Jesus in our city, our nation and the nations of the earth. Practically, that means we are a local church with a global mission.
We believe church doesn’t just happen on Sundays. In the Bible, the first church was commissioned to live in community, to worship, to share meals, to praise God together and to reach out to others. We want to live this mission daily here in Little Rock, in coffee shops, church pews, on soccer fields and street corners.
We believe everyone has a meaningful part to play in the Kingdom of God. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel to the world. As we respond to needs, from one end of the earth to the other, we plant churches and impact communities with God’s love so we might see His Kingdom come and His will be done.
Antioch began as a few friends in 2018 with a desire to seek God's heart, meet with Him in authentic ways, grow and establish Kingdom culture, and love and bless the people of Little Rock. We started meeting regularly to worship, study the Bible, and learn what it means to follow Jesus individually and as a community. We'd meet on Sunday mornings all together in someone's home, and then in smaller groups throughout the week. We wanted everything we did as a community to revolve around loving and encountering God, walking in close fellowship and discipleship with one another, and living with purposeful mission, partnering with God's purposes on the earth. Throughout these past couple of years, we have sought to continue to pursue these three core things as a community.
Sunday Mornings: We currently meet Sunday mornings at 10:30am at Markham Street Baptist Church, located at 9701 W Markham Street. You may park near our entrance on the West side of the building next to Andy's. We are also providing access to our gatherings online through our live stream, which can be accessed here. All are welcome to join us on Sundays, and we would love to provide any additional information you should need! If you have young children, you can get info about our Kid's Ministry here.
Lifegroups: We also meet in homes throughout the week in our Lifegroups to grow in our walks with God, go deep in relationship with one another, and reach out to the community around us. It is our heart that everyone who longs to be a part of an authentic community to grow in God can find that here. Lifegroups are at the core of who we are as a church. We believe that spiritual growth and maturity comes when we are deeply connected with people that encourage and challenge us to take our next steps with God. If you want to connect with God and others on a deeper level, this is the place!
