We believe Jesus LOVES children and sees them as integral parts to His Kingdom! As a church we want to partner with parents in their pursuit of loving, teaching, and discipling their children and helping them grow up knowing the love of Jesus and His purposes in the world. We see the kids in our church being just as crucial members of our body as we would the young adult, married couple, or senior adult. Because of that, we take the same intentionality to help the kids grow in their understanding of God, learn how to serve others, and take active roles in Jesus' mission and purposes. Our goal with Kids Ministry is that your child will be safe, have a ton of fun, and know more about God every time they join us!
We seek to actively involve our kids in our regular times of worship. During the start of our Sunday morning service, you may bring your child with you upstairs for the beginning of our time of worship. There is a check-in table in the back in which you can meet a kids worker and sign them in. After roughly 20 minutes of worship, we will have a transition time in which you can bring your child to the back of the room to help them transition to kids time. The kids workers will bring them safely downstairs to the rooms in which you can pick them up after service. If this is your child's first time, we recommend you walk down with them to help with the transition and for you to be clear on the location of the kids rooms.
We seek to prepare a safe, healthy, and fun experience for your child in our Kids Rooms. If you are comfortable with having your child in our Kids Rooms, we would love for them to join us! Currently we have 2 rooms available: A room for ages 0-3 (once your child can sit upright themselves) and a room for ages 3 and up. If you would feel more comfortable having your child with you, they are welcome to attend our larger gathering with you. We have a number of parents utilizing this option, so your child will not be a burdensome distraction to others. We enjoy having them there!
